waynemac Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Gidday TCH`ers, hows ur day? Awesome again today I hope. Im running a website here in Japan...city info etc and am working on a mobilephone site alongside it using html. I want to have people access using dadada.com/mobile as opposed to index.html on the end. Looks better to have the simple address when advertising etc. I tried a redirect 301 but ended up with a long line of index.htmlindex.htmlindex.html`s. Im wondering how to do a Redirect when the user just enters a folder address rather than an acutal file address. Thus, redirect from the folder to the index.html it contains. Is it just a different Redirect 30x number? Wayne Rock Sign Quote
TCH-Rob Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 You shouldnt have to, if a folder has an index.htm it should automatically open that file if you go to just domain.com/folder. Quote
