updates to things like php and mysql are done once a release has proven to be stable. Cpanel updates are done when cpanel.net pushes a new release, and we only run the stable build of their release, we dont run edge or any of the other releases.

You can always check the current version on this page

I've looked at some of those pages for versions but I wasn't sure they were always kept up to date.

For example, http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/cpanelpage.htm

says tch is running cPanel 8 but I think they are actually running cPanel 9.

edit>>> this page says cPanel 8.5 http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/web-hosting-plans.html

That's the only reason I like to ask on this board--I always get great/accurate answers.

The page I linked to is always current.

It has the default phpinfo command which looks at the current setting on the server and displays them.

It's for sure the one that displays the true current version.

Does anyone know when a newer version of mysql will be updated to the servers? Aren't there stable versions since the current install on the servers (Client API version 4.0.20 )?

Thank you.
