Hi,

We setup an account yesteday with a domain name we already registered with another provider, www.humestreetchurch.org

Just wondering please when it might be ready, I've already setup all the e-mail addresses for our staff in Cpanel and on their Outlook / Outlook Express accounts. They're anxious to be able to get thier email from these new accounts :(

BTW, well done on the speediness of your service! Crikey, I couldn't believe how fast you guys were when our account ready 15 minutes after we joined!!! :D

:( Welcome to the Family Carl :D

and your new home!

Did you change the your domain name

to point at the nameservers in your welcome e-mail?

It will take up to 72 hours after that

for all the nameservers in the world to update.

We really are like family here.

So if you need anything,

just ask your new family!

We love to help :)

Thanks Rob

I've sent iPowerWeb a support e-mail to send me our account details to we can login into our domain control panel and make the changes.

It's not possible to transfer the domain name entirely over to you is it?

:( Welcome to the family, Carl :D

If you own the domain name you should be allowed to transfer it anywhere you like. Cost to transfer to TCH is $10.95 and get's you an additional year.

Dear Valued Customer,

You recently purchased a domain registrar transfer for:

HUMESTREETCHURCH.ORG

However, the current status of the above domain name is:

clientTransferProhibited

Domain names in this status cannot be transferred.

Please contact your current registrar to resolve this issue.

:( :D

Guess I better e-mail iPowerWeb again..

Yeah, iPowerWeb is blocking you off.

Send them a few nasty letters to get them off your back. It's your domain, get registered with the best.

Welcome home.

Question

How do I get my domain out of Registrar Lock status?

Answer

Registrar LOCK means that the domain name may not be transferred to a different registrar and changes cannot be made.

In order to remove the lock off of a domain, you must have access to your domain's administration utility. If you do not have access to this, you MUST contact your registrar to have them unlock the domain.

If iPower registered your domain for you, please e-mail transfer@ipower.com with your domain name, last 4 digits of the credit card on file for verification, and the request to remove the LOCK.

Thanks Omega :(

Have sent them an email and hopefully here from them overnight (being Australian time here) - I'll be able to check the e-mail from home.

Toowoomba,

I didnt know that was a real place, thought it was just in the Dundee movies.

Did you just purchase this domain name? Looks like on July 22? If that is the case you have to wait to Sept 22 at the earliest before you can make a transfer.

Thomas,

The reason I asked is because in Crocodile Dundee, if memory serves me correctly, he was from Walkabout Creek in Toowoomba. I just thought it was a movie name as they often make up.

Domain Transfer Details

Domain: HUMESTREETCHURCH.ORG

Status: Awaiting Transfer Date

OrderID: ....

Admin Email: ....

Status Description:

This domain was registered within the last 60 days and cannot complete a transfer within this period. This transfer will continue automatically after 60 days has passed from the registration date.

So, does that mean that the transfer will occur immediately after the 60b days is up on 22nd September? *crosses fingers* I'm gettin real anxious now...

Also, I'll have to change the administrative e-mail addresses after it's transferred as well.
