Cpanel Access Prior To Domain Transfer

i realize this is probably a silly question, but i recently registered another account here and i can't get to the cpanel to set up the email addresses prior to the domain transfer.

 

i am assuming this is possible...

 

i am entering http://ip address/~username/cpanel

 

and i get a page not found error.

 

any suggestions?

For the cpanel you need to enter http://IPAddress/cpanel. You only put your username on the end to view the site before propagation.

Don't do the "~username"

 

http://<ipaddress>/cpanel

Wow, this is the question I was going to ask or something similiar anyway.

 

Ok, I haven't been active on my website and I know you've done a lot of changes.

 

I used to get into my cpanel and webmail but can't now, I was given another url with #'s in them but I can't remember them.

 

This is what I used to do

 

www.domain.com/cpanel & www.domain.com/webmail

 

neither works, rather then using ip which doesn't work for me as well or port #'s how can I access my site with a url using letters only?
