TCH-Rick Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 It's been a while since we have had a discussion on what's permissible for subdomains so I thought I would just post a thought I had tonight. I was checking on a site that had to be suspended. In looking at the site it appears that the account owner had given a friend a subdomain for a blog. Included was a script to mail bomb someone. It allowed you to specify the address, number of mails to send, and message you wanted to include. As a result the site is suspended and pending termination. Moral of the story is that you are responsible for what happens with your account. Be sure to know what is on your site. If you see something that should not be there and don't know how to remove it let us know immediately and we can help. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Not only was he runnig a script that got him suspended but he was also breaking the acceptable use policy. You may not conduct hostee or offer free web hosting to people based on your subdomains. Quote
