musicfrisk Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 /tmp/analog /tmp/webalizer /tmp/webalizerftp folders? Since I never use these anymore as they aren't updated anymore, I could potentially free up some space this way. Perhaps this should even be done globally? Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 The folder /tmp/webalizerftp is not empty on my sites but the rest are empty and take up little space. You can always copy the tmp folder to your computer as a backup. But I just removed them from one of my site and so far so no problem. the /tmp/webalizerftp does contain recent info however useless as it seems Quote
borfast Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 (edited) Since webalizer is no longer installed, I'd say it's no problem at all to delete that folder. This is my personal opinion, though. Since I'm only a mod, I can't guarantee it won't ruin your account. Of course it won't ruin your account but TCH can't be held responsible if you decide to follow my opinion and something goes wrong Edited July 10, 2004 by TCH-Raul Quote
TCH-Rob Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 The only folder I have left in my temp folder is awstats. If that is all you are removing you should be fine. Quote

Thanks Rob That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. Cleared up a nice 9MB of space overall. I'd suggest this for any account from the old stats packages days. Quote
