danceswithscissors Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 I've just registered a new domain thru TCH, it shows up in my domain list. Now I'm trying to set it up with the Starter Plan and I'm being told either my email address or password is wrong. What am I doing wrong? HELP please Quote
TCH-Andy Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Hi, The hosting is seperate from the domain name registration. So for the hosting you need to sign up as a new user (NOT as an existing user with the the domain name registration email and password). Quote
danceswithscissors Posted July 9, 2004 Author Posted July 9, 2004 After I registered the new domain, and made sure it was securly tucked away in my management area, I logged out of my account. Then I attempted to set it up for web hosting. It give me two choices for that: Tell us who you are: I am a new customer. Add this order to my account. I wanted to add this to my account, but it won't accept either my email address of password. (however I can log into my account with it just fine) I then attempted to set up as a new customer, but it won't let me use the same email address. I'd like to avoid having a different email address on each domain. Is there any way to avoid that? Quote
