leefecu Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 Hi there I have two domains ???????.com and ???????.co.nz same name just with differnet suffix I want to use .co.nz for now and .com for later when my company goes world wide But it seems that TCH doesn't support .co.nz How can I register? Thanks Quote
Alan Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 leefecu, You could register the domain name at another domain registrar e.g: http://www.godaddy.com <~ I THINK they support that domain, but I am not sure., and just use TCH's nameservers: ns1.totalchoicehosting.com ns2.totalchoicehosting.com And when you signup for your account here at TCH, just use the 'Use my current domain and just update records' or whatever it says there. And it should all work fine. If I am wrong, someone will be along to correct me shortly. Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 And you can have support park the other domain on top of the current one. Welcome leefecu, if you need anything, please ask, we really are like a family here. Quote
leefecu Posted July 4, 2004 Author Posted July 4, 2004 Thanks for you help One more question When I sign up I am asked to enter a valid domain name and there are two txt boxes, one for domain name and another one for suffix. [ ].[ ] Do I just put [xxxxxxxxxxx].[co.nz] like this? Would it work? Quote
TCH-Andy Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Hi, I would put in the .com name, and then open a ticket at the support desk, and ask us to change the account to .co.nz and park the .com on top of it for you. Quote
leefecu Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 If my account is changed to .co.nz would my email be ???@???.co.nz ? Quote
TCH-Andy Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Hi, Yes, if your domain name is domain.co.nz then you can set emails up for anything@domain.co.nz or any.thing@domain.co.nz Quote
