Well, my current host has left Moveable Type users in the dark and stopped support for Moveable Type related problems, and are also not allowing any new MT installs. I guess I've been flying under the radar since I implement all the security I can and my site has never had a problem.

I don't want to stay with them because I'm afraid that they'll pull the plug on my site sooner or later, regardless of the security of my site, as that has happened to other people.

So questions!

1) Does TCH allow moveable type installs? I'm currently running MT v2.661 with MT-Blacklist, FilterCategories, and SubCategories plugins, along with renamed comment and trackback scripts to discourage spam.

2) When my domain name eventually needs to be renewed, if I transfer it over to TCH who owns it? I know that with godaddy.com THEY technically own it, and can do anything they want with it.

I think I've searched for the answers to everything else. Everything looks good so far...

Couple of things...

1) MT is allowed here. We have no intentions of banning it either. Several users here use MT currently.

2) You own the domain. And as far as godaddy.com, unless they are listed as the registered owner, they do not own the domain, you do. Godaddy legally cannot do anything with the domain they want.

Thanks for the help, I'll definiately be a future customer.
