Virtual Imager Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I just sent an email to a business with a very interesting result... I was sent an email back with a link to something called Spam Arrest where I had to verify my existence as a real person (by entering an encoded word from the screen). Once done, my email was delivered and I'm on the allow list for that business so I won't have to do it again. Seems like a good thing for anyone receiving lots of spam... I went to their site and it's free for 30 days and not real expensive after that. Anyone have any experience with them? Quote
jandafields Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I see the benefit of using a system like that, but I can also see alot of people not going through with the hassle of the verification process. Thus, a business using this system could lose potential customers. You should make it as easy as possible for potential clients to contact you instead of assuming that they might be spammers (as they see in the automated returned email)... Quote
