nesdon Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 I can't seem to figure out why all the alignmets are like 100 px off. In my last testnsite it all worked perfectly, and in the couple of tutorrials I ran it all worked, now that I'm doing something for real it's crazy. I guess I need to get to understand what all that code is for, much of it seems pointless, but what I can understand looks OK Quote
MTPockets Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 Aligning tables vertically can be a real pain. You can either align using things like "top" or "middle" but that's going to change based on everyone's resolution/screen size. Your best bet is to use a clear gif (1 pixel by 1 pixel) and then resize that image in DW to something like 5 x 100 pxs. Insert that as the top row of your table. That will force the remaining table contents to start 100 px's down, no matter what screen resolution. These "spacer images" can be a real lifesaver. Selah Quote
