Hi all,

I would like to know how do I use the shared ssl? I have a program that needs the address and I don't know what it is.

The site address is: www.careerlevel.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi

Thanks,

Marc

One more question (hopefully)...

How do I upload a file to the secure area of the server? I have a classifieds_ssl.cgi file that I need to upload in order to accept credit cards.

Thanks

So none of my clients would have SSL on this server either? How about if I go to a dedicated server? If I need to buy my own cert, would that cover the entire server or do you buy a SSL for a domain?

I know nothing about this stuff!

Thanks for the replies.

I did find one post that may answer your question.

It seems you can get your own cert and share it with your clients if you use the way shown in that post.

But its best to open a help ticket to the techs to get a answer.

I honestly can't remember who, but one of the family members has their SSL certificate set to a generic sounding domain name. Then all their clients share this certificate. I'm not sure if they are on a reslller plan or a dedicated server. Your best bet would be to submit a ticket to the help desk.
