I am running a site based on Joomla 1.5. Recently joomla.org released version 1.6 and I should of course upgrade my joomla powered site, but there are no upgrade tools (no official anyway), so the only option left as far as I know is to install a new copy of joomla (v1.6) in a subfolder and then copy/paste the content to the new install, kill current site and upload subfolder content to the public_html. Therefor I am thinking of trying Drupal but I know next to nothing about Drupal (did a test installation years ago). Why not try something that may be easier to upgrade are my thoughts. What are the good and bad in these two CMS´s? Are any of them easier to work with, upgrade and so on? Let me hear your thoughts please.
