Well, today is a little cooler, with a stuff breeze. I'm hoping it will warm up a little later on. Just let me know ahead of time and I'll send you the details..and also warn my husband (who would be actually thrilled to have a household full of people he can talk computer to (he works in the IT field). I've never coped well with being cold. Snow is pretty to visit, as well as on post cards. I lived in California for most of my life, and that state has a wonderfully moderate climate. Here in the south, it gets wicked hot and humid. But the winters are seriously mild compared to what you folks have to endure. Occasionally, we get the freezing temps..but they don't last long, and quite often, like right now, we get the beautiful days in between.

I guess I should not be saying that it is expected to get up to 80 degrees (F) today. And that I am wearing shorts.

My site was compromised on 10/2. Since I am a blundering idiot, I didn't start doing anything with backups until about a week ago. Do you folks keep backups so that you could restore it from 10/2 or do you only keep the latest? In other words can you restore me from 10/2? Thanks!

I had the same problem yesterday. Or was that today or even tomorrow. Bah...I was never very good at math.

I used to use blogger for all of my blogs but now I just have a recipe blog their now. It tends to go down, or act strange a few times a week. It's been my experience that it's not all that stable. If it were me, I would just give it a few hours and then try it again. They seem to get things running in generally a few hours. Have you checked their home site to see if they have any problems that are listed?

Bruce, In your opinion, what is the best way to do it. I did mine as Don suggested, through cPanel but it took a while. I just have my blog up on this site (that and my photoblog). Do you think it is better to do a full back up?
