I have a question. When people try to comment on my blog, they get the following msg: ***************************************** Moogies World Thank You for Commenting Your comment has been received. To protect against malicious comments, I have enabled a feature that allows your comments to be held for approval the first time you post a comment. I'll approve your comment when convenient; there is no need to re-post your comment. Return to the comment page ************************************************* My settings to not specify that approval is needed. My blog is http://www.moogiesworld.com. I use MT. I know that I've been receiving a bit more spam lately (and I'm working it on that in and should have a fix in place in a day or so). At any rate, when anyone comments, they get the above msg, and the comment is dumped in my "junk" comments. I have to go to my junk comments, and select the good one's, and move them over to my blog (by clicking not junk). Thanks. Laura http://www.moogiesworld.com PS: I didn't want to implement the fix until I knew what was causing this to happen.

Is there a quick way to delete unapproved comment SPAM? Going about it the normal way takes a really long time and he (husband) had nearly 32,000 of them (I've trimmed it down to about 31K. He's still using version 3.17.

Hi, I wanted to know if any of you have experienced this, or know what is causing it so I can stop it. Quite often, I've been informed by email that I my disk usage is "critical." Then I go into cPanel and take a look around I find that there is a HUGE file that has suddently appeared. The first place I check is the mt directory since that's where the file is most of the time. It's always named something like core.XXXXX. I go ahead and delete the file and the problem is solved. Where is this file coming from? It's not from me. Do you have any idea how I can fix this so it doesn't happen again? In answer to your question, I change my password often, to a "safe" password. I have reinstalled (fresh) MT three times. Any help/ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I only changed the top picture but not the others. I was just testing things out. My main problem is to try to figure out where to put the CSS and in which template.
-
I'm using Maxthon. I was afraid you were going to say CSS. Ok then, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and see if I can do it.

Well, I changed it to this: <img src="http://static.flickr.com/116/295761517_43973e45ee.jpg?v=0" width="93" height="100" border="1" align="left" hspace="10px" vspace="10px" alt="Peep"/> But I still have the same problem. I guess I need to try the other way? (gulp)

Take a look here. Notice how the text is too close to the photo? Is there a way to fix that? This is the HTML that I used for the picture: <a href=" title="Furry Friends"><img src="http://static.flickr.com/116/295761517_43973e45ee.jpg?v=0" alt="Peep" width="93" height="100" border=3" style="float:left"/></a> Is there a way to space it out so it's not so crowded? I'm obviously missing something. The pictures that a place on the right don't have the same problem. Thanks.

No thank you. But I will share some of mine. I just need to pick up some container to bottle it in. Let me know where I should send it.
