I would prefer something in between, which would be to start clean when Wordpress 3.0 comes out and clean out the old stuff. How would I request that in a help desk ticket?

For the plugins I used, WP did it automatically. I use very few plugins, so my results may not be typical.

I've always used Fantastico for previous upgrades, but the Automatic Updgrade on Wordpress Dashboard updated with no problems. That will be my choice for future upgrades. I was willing to try it because I guessed that that if I made a backup before the upgrade and the upgrade didn't work, the folks at TCH would be able to rescue me.

Another hostings service I use has upgraded to cPanel 11.4.19-RELEASE 14379. In the last upgrades, the ability to access several email accounts through Horde as TCH had until recently was restored. Are you seeing this likely to be returned in the future at TCH. Thanks, Ben
