I guess it's codded in a way it always start search the file to be included from the main directory... Anyway, thanks! Las thing, if anyone need a good poll script, Poll-It works perfectly. But I had to edit some parts of the code because it included "endlines" at random places for a strange reason.

Thanks a lot for your good comments! I create those banners, but the dragon is from a scanned painting made for D&D collectible cards back in the 80s. Adding a dragon to my new design? Yeah... I'll see. I wanted to create a kind of "spooky" atmosphere (I'll soon add a swamp image at the buttom of the page). But it's true that this dragon gives a good punch. I'll try adding one to my new design as soon as school ends (only one week left!). Thanks again for your comments!

Hello. I've been using SSI include commands for a long time and never had any problems with them. Now I want to use the CGI script called Poll It, which like the name says, is made to build my own polls. Now I need to use the following command in order to include the poll in my shtml pages: <!--#exec cgi="http://www.adnddownloads.com/poll_it/Poll_It_SSI_v2.05.cgi" --> As you can see on my test page: http://www.adnddownloads.com/design/ , the script won't load. Is there anything special I have to do? (yes, my files have the right CHMOD)

I started making websites in grade 8. I was building simple things the Geocities editor. Then a friend showed me how he'd done a "cool" logo for his website. I was amazed by his work, even if now I'd say it was $#!&! hehe! He showed me a couple of tricks with Adobe Photosop. Since that time, I've learned many things, and recently discovered sites like good-turotials.com which really help me. Now I have my own Dongeon & Dragons website, and I'm working on a new design : http://www.adnddownloads.com/design/ I try stuff with photoshop and learn new tricks by "error". And I really like my new forum sig. That was my story! Bye!

I've also been a customer here for a bout a year, and let me tell you that anytime I need help and post a help ticket, these guys are really there to help. Sometimes, when it's not urgent, they take an hour or two, but at he minute you tell them you have a big/terrible/uncontrolable problem, they'll help in like 2 minutes. I only have a small account here as I only own a single website with like 1000 visitors a day so I don't pay a lot. But they still help me anytime I need... I I was sure they wouldn't do I first sign up. I mean, almost no company help small clients like me.

I'm no professionnal Web designer, but I'm not bad either. And here's what I think about the site: Information is clear and easy to find... which is probably to best asset of a Website. Design is not bad either. It's not awfull and does not distract visitors from what they are looking for. But I really think the main page (at least) should be redesigned so it hits your eyes. You want people to say: "Wow! These guys MUST know what they're doing!" As you surely know, a guy in a brand new 1000$ suit looks more profesionnal, even if he's not! So I guess it's the same for Websites. People are impressed by good presentation. I just hope my comment will be of any help...

Ok. Now please don't laught at me because what I did was more than dumb. Beleive it or not, in the same evening I managed to delete a complete mySQL databse and also attachment flies folder for my forums... I'm about to explode! Please, if I just want to know if anything can be done. I've sent a help ticket, but they seem to have other problems right now... I don't have any backup and I hoped for Totalchoice Hosting to be able to get my files back. If not, then I think write f***ing bumbass on my forehead for the next 5 days. Man this has been a really day...................

Hello. I'm trying to install a "news-poster" CGi script. I've never done that so I'm using the script's help. For now, I've given #!/usr/bin/perl as perl but I was wondering if I have to activate or anything as there is no such folder in my account. Second, they're asking me for my admin password... what is it supposed to be? Where do I get it? I try running http://www.adnddownloads.com/cgi-bin/news/admin.cgi and it doesn't work. I've already CHmoded my files to 775 as told in turials, but it doesn't seem to work. Could anyone help please? Thanks!

I know Nero doesn't take MPC files. So is there a plug-in I could install to Nero, or maybe another program I could use to convert MPC to MP3? Thanks a lot!

Hello. This is where one of the best Dungeons & Dragons website (www.adnddownloads.com) has been created: in my bedroom! I don't know if you want some details or anything so I'll take a chance and talk about my room in 2-3 lines. First, you can see two main tendencies: fantasy & snowboarding. Fantasy's taking a good place as my website is about D&D. You can see of my most recent books on the left. For snowboarding, as I live in northern Canada, winter lasts about 5-6 months so you HAVE to like it. I think snowboarding's one of coolest sports on earth. That's it. I don't you guys are too much fascinated by my little stories so I'm stopping now... What do you think of Victoria at the top?
