attempting to send a ticket now to delete the 2 folders for me.

What does it mean to change ownership of the file? I've never had this problem deleting accounts in coppermine or vbulletin or other scripts i've tried as demos to see if i liked it or not. Why would it say because of a internal sever error and delete it manually if it couldnt be deleted without having to "change ownership of the file" or myself having to go thru all of the steps of having to contact my hosting service to simply delete a folder? Where have you seen or learned about the information or anything about something like this belonging to a user nobody? I'd like to read about this info to better educate myself on this term. Hmm,... Well something weird happened. I'm unable to delete the folder name 05_dodge_dakota located at public_html/webmember/05_dodge_dakota The folder was created as an account for myself that was just installed for automotive people to create their own free automotive website. Going thru the admin section testing it out I wanted to delete the account to see how that process happens, while deleting it i received an error saying "User's Homepage was unsuccessfully deleted due to an internal server error, the folder '/05_dodge_dakota' should be manually deleted." I thought hmm,.. weird. So then i opened WS_FTP and tried to delete it and got an error 550: 05_dodge_dakota: Directory not empty. I thought that never stopped me before from deleting folders so i checked the settings and they are fine, I even created a new folder, copied junk into it and even made a sub-folder and was able to delete it. I thought Hmm,.. weird so then i thought oh yeah i know of a way to delete it for sure so then i tried File Manager. When i click the folder link then click on Delete this folder and all files under it but the folder never shows up under the trash can but the icon for the trash car has changed so i clicked the trash can anyway, it acted like it emptyed it but yet the folder still remained. There's another folder named dodger05 which is a second account that i made which i tried to delete as well and it cannot be deleted either. Can you please try to delete the directory / folder on yourside of the sever. I need 05_dodge_dakota and dodger05 deleted. They are located inside of the webmember directory. Does anyone know why this is happening? I've got a email into the person who did the install for me to see if maybe they know why this might be happening. But why can't File Manager delete those 2 folders? Thank You. Jim.

yeah i just checked gallery not working. to make things worse,... I changed PW back to when it did work and guess what??? Gallery still doesnt work. Hmm. What now? brb son pickup run...

******************************************** Dude,... You totally RULE. I changed my password. Forums works, Gallery doesnt still. I completly understand not supporting 3rd party scripts. So when i create a database I dont use my login info for the Add User after making the database. I need to create a user then add that user right?

Thank you for the link to the tutorial. So,... have i been creating the databases wrong to begin with? Why when i change my password does it effect the databases? What is your suggestion or what do people do when they have another service install a script for them? Can TCH install the script for me?

Hmm,.. so when I have the people from SSP install the script because i dont know how to when i go to change the password back again I'm SOL, Screwed ect,... because i wouldnt know how to change the config files right??

It may have been dropped by the cpanel folks the submit url was not a good thing anyway, I have read its better to do it your self. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm,.. so someone other than yourselves can change cPanel at will??? I thought this was something your services supplied for your members.

Oh BTW I changed the password back and now forum and gallery is working again so if you try to visit the site you'll see it once again working because I CHANGED THE PASSWORD BACK.

I'm buying the script SuperSitesPro from http://www.supersitespro.com/ since I do not know much about installing scripts they will charge me $15 and they'll do the install for me. They need for me to create a MySQL database named ssp they also require this information: Quote from the email I received from SSP below. Coppermine was there because i noticed that it was an old version. Plus something else that isnt there any longer is the ability to submit your URL to the search engines so they probably both went to the same place. I dunno,... Where did the Submit URL go to and that might answer our question to where Coppermine went to.

I did the only thing that i knew how to do. I went to Manage Mysql. Under Db: I entered the name of the Database i wanted to create and clicked the button Add Db. Then i went to the the section on the same page that says User: I selected my account name. then Under Db: I selected the Database name i just created and then i clicked Add User to Db: with Privileges: All.

Gallery error I get. Coppermine critical error: Unable to connect to database ! MySQL said: Access denied for user: 'nzqtjk@localhost' (Using password: YES) Forum error I get. Well,.. After reading your message I went back into cPanel to see if there were more than 1 place to change my password at and there isnt. The only Change Password I could find was under Site Management. So to answer your question,... "Site Management" I mean I even wrote it in the title.

I changed passwords now my Forum and Photo Gallery stopped working so i had to change the password back to what it was. When i changed the password it said that it changed it for Frontpage and MySQL Databases successful. What went wrong or what happened? I did a search for password change and such and got alot of go in to cPanel and click change password but nothing i found helped me with these problems. Did i miss a manual somewhere or something? Is there a book on this stuff? Man sometimes it gets confusing and very very Frustrating people... Man All i wanted to do was change my password and i never thought i'd spent the next 90 minutes trying to figure out what happened or what went wrong. Once i change my password what do i need to do next to get my Forum and Gallery working again? Whoever said this was simple needs to be shot. lol j/k.

Ahh,.. Never Mind. I figured it out. You didnt say i'd have to go in to manage accounts then create the 2 accounts i wanted then reconfigure outlook account information for them... Okay,... In cPanel I Clicked Default Address nothing was there, I clicked [ Set Default Address ] and added :fail: Default Address Maintenance Send all unrouted e-mail for: Onlineautorama.com :fail: Now i'm not getting my mail in outlook. Whats up?
