  1. I'm getting a "temporarily unavailable" message on my site. (lysdexic.net) I also can't login to cpanel or sqmail. Not sure why this is happening. Please advise. Thanks.
  2. Yes. I even changed the password to make sure and reentered it. I am using the proper case. I'm connecting with Bulletproof FTP and I verified that I can connect to the FTP server by logging into my default account. EDIT: I just tried again and it's working now. Thanks.
  3. I setup a subdomain and secondary FTP account on my server. When I try to login to ftp.lysdexic.net as newaccountname@lysdexic.net with the password I entered for the new account, I receive a authentication validation error. Please advise. Thanks.
  4. I looked for a more appropriate forum to post this question, but I can't find any place to post questions about emails. I have dozens of mail forwarders setup and they all forward to the same physical mailbox. This mailbox is a closely guarded secret which I don't divulge publically in an effort to control spam. Let's call it somemailbox@lysdexic.net. I have the SMTP server in Thunderbird setup to use mail.lysdexic.net via SSL on port 465. I have checked Use Name and Password and specified the physical account as the User Name, not one of the forwarders. Further, I have identities configured in Thunderbird so that when I reply to an email it looks like it comes from one of my forwarders instead of my secret physical account. Let's say one of my forwarders is called someforwarder@lysdexic.net When I try to send an email using one of my identities in the From box, Thunderbird connects to the server and asks for the password for somemailbox@lysdexic.net. I supply the correct password and then receive and error stating: Verification failed for <someforwarder@lysdexic.net> This setup has been working for me without any problems, but no longer seems to do the job. Please advise.
  5. I'm starting a web design firm and TCH's reseller hosting looks to be just the plan for me. This thread has answered a lot of my questions so far. Thanks everyone... A few that are still outstanding: How would email work for domains hosted under my reseller space? Do they have unlimited email accounts? Am I able to restrict the number of accounts they have available? Same questions as above for FTP accounts? Is there a demo of the Web Host Manager or some screen caps so I can get an idea of what I can and can't do? I currently have silver hosting with TCH. Will a domain hosted under my reseller space essentially have the same features that I have with my silver account? If not, what are the differences? If for some reason I were to no longer be able to continue with my business, what would happen to my client's hosting? Would they be able to convert to a TCH plan? How has TCH handled this type of situation in the past. Thanks again, everyone...
  6. Awesome! Thanks, fellas!
  7. My company blocks pop access through their firewall and they also block port 2082, so I can't even use the TCH installed clients and consequently I'm unable to check my email when I'm at work. I need to install something running on port 80. I've tried to install various web mail clients and haven't had much luck getting anything to work so far. Has anyone else been successful installing a web mail client? Which one? Any quirky things I should know about the install? Thanks...
  8. Shall we just assume that you'll take care of all instances of this problem or do you want us to report it individually through the support form?
