KIndlythanks Bill for fast response. I see from log that you send to me that only one ip make a problem (99% ).Does it mean that site was under Ddos of Flood attack? And what to do ro prevent this happening again.I've already blocked ip in my .htaccess but how to protect myself from this issues?

Usually phpBB board wit just a couple mods/hacks make a 10 -25 queries per page. My old board did a between 100 - 115 per page.That's is for sure problem.

I think that i know what may be problem.So i hope to get response soon on my ticket that i send a 2h a go. I use old 2.0.4 board that is hardly modify with many hacks.Many hack make many queries and it make a huge load on server if 30 - 40 people are on forum. I need soon possible opening accoutn again and then soon disabling of old board (just copy my description of my forums) and then switch to new board.And i hope there will be not anymore huge load. 2h is long.Hope to get response soon on my ticket. I just got this morning message that account is suspended for a PHPBB attack which caused excessive load on server. I've send support ticket to abuse department but what to do against such a attack?And what i can do to prevent this happend in future? btw I hope that account should be open soon.

I've solved problem.Thankf for your help.I did again a stupid mistake.Forget to add username really to that db. Oh it seems that i miss stronger coffee this afternoon.

I know it and i try but without any luck. DNS/IP info is still not changed but i think it is not problem. Actually what i did again is copy exactly same database name and database user as it stated there. So through cpanel/Mysql under Databases: i just copied databasename (and i see that user chosed under is added to that database) and under user i copied exactly name as it stated there. Then i copy password that i chosed for username above.And still error. Really lost!It should be and must be simple but...

I'm really lost here.However i have old forum from old hosting and use them for a last 3 years i would to start on a new hosting from fresh installed forum. As first i created database and then add username/password. So it should be simple then just fill in by phpBB: Database Type: Mysql 4.x Database Server Hostname / DSN: localhost Your Database Name: (name of database that i chosed) Database Username: (username that i chosed) Database Password: (password that i chose for username above) Prefix for tables in database : and prefix is standard but everytime i geting error above!

It seems that it is then something from server side! Hoepfully will be fixed soon!

Thanks for reply but it does not hae anything to do with cuteftp. I use cuteftp last 4 years and on my previosly 3 hosting .htaccess was always visible. I think it is from server side.

It seems to be strange but .htaccess is uploaded correct and i can not see him through CuteFTP as another files!? Everytime if i would to download him or performance CHMOD i need to go through Cpanel. It is strange.Can someone answer me on this qeustion. THanks

I have actually same problem.So what to do.I clicked on pay via paypal, logged in paypal, and then paypal wanted me to enter my credit card information. I would to pay my request for account via paypal but it happend strange problem to me.I got error from paypal that password is not valid and that i must use between 8 and 20 character password.And my default password to login inside paypal is more than 20 characters. So i tried to login into paypal and i logged as usually without any problem, go to my profile and try to change password but paypak refuse to change my password and give me some unknown symbol above as error |@@|@@. Hmmm....Very strange.I send mail to paypal but still wait on their answer. I would like to know of i may get mail from totachoice where i directly can try to pay through paypal (when i'm logged in and clicking on send money).
