  1. I installed XAMPP on my WinXP Pro machine so that I could test PHP scripts and run a test WordPress without having to "go live" and it works awesomely! It was super easy to set up, and it's super easy to start/stop the Apache and SQL servers. You should check it out if you want to learn PHP/MySQL in the comfort of your own machine.
  2. Another suggestion is if you are using Firefox 1.0 as your browser, there is an extension called FireFTP that absolutely rocks! It will open up in another tab and has a very intuitive GUI. It will do everything that a third party FTP app will do, and it's very handy to be able to switch tabs to refresh your site as you are uploading changes to it!
  3. Ahhh..as for the Image Manager, I figured out that I was clicking the wrong thing and I do see what it does. As for the stats configuration, I am not really looking for anything specific; I was just curious about it. I just see a new "button" and I just have to click on it, lol.
  4. I searched the forums and couldn't find anything, but I am just curious about two of the tools on the Cpanel; Image Manager and Stats Configuration. What exactly does Image Manager do? and is Stats Cofiguration going to come available anytime in the future? I don't really think I need either of them, but I was just curious about them. Are they some "extranneous junk" from the Cpanel Pro installation or are they something that is/will be usable?
  5. I was just wondering. Is the password for the protected family only forum the same as the password I use to log in to the general forum? Is it my user account password? or do I have to make a new one?
  6. Without going into detail, I had a problem with paypal and my invoice and my account was temporarily suspended. I messaged michelle and told her the situation, and five minutes later I'm back up and running! She was very nice, helpful, and the solution was practically instant! I just have to say Great Job TCH and thank you michelle! The best hosting I've ever had, and I plan on staying here as long as you'll have me!!
  7. I am using FP 2003, and have made some edits to my .css file in the theme folder. Minor changes; I changed the hyperlink properties (color, no underline) and also added a hover style. I edited the correct file and saved it. The problem comes when I publish the site. If I simply click the Publish Web Site button, the styles don't take; i.e. the changes are not carried over to the remote site, and then when I open the .css file again the changes are gone, even though I have saved it. However, if I publish only the .css file to the remote server, then all is well; that is until I have to make any more changes to my pages. Then .css file reverts back to its pre-modified state. Is this just the way FP works with .css files or am I missing something? My Site

Yes they work just fine. I use FP2003. The only features that I know for sure won't work are the Sharepoint services. There may be some seldom used features that don't work, but I am not aware of any but Sharepoint, and I really have no need for those at all. The Remote Site interface in 2003 is soooo much better than previous versions, especially the ability to publish from remote to local (very helpful when working on your site on several different computers).
