Sussed it myself , had to rename all files with .htm to .shtml for the script to work

I hav enterd my ads , the urls they go to . Pasted the code on to the page no ads displayed at all . Is there something I am missing here . I can see all of my info in the modify rotation. I have pasted this on the page. <!--#exec cmd="cgi-bin/entropybanner.cgi"--> And the script is in that directory . Anyone got any ideas

Aikidave : You are correct . There are free search engine submission which can be anything from 1 week to 6 months in some extreme cases. There are also search engines / directories who have pay for listing submissions which get listed in 2-3 days usually . These range in costs but are usually about $199 each . Another category is PPC search engines where you can bid on keywords . A personal opinion is that the paid for submissions services are responsible for some real commercial rubbish appearing in directories . Yahoo being the best example . I personally would submit to the open directory . http://dmoz.org first because Google , Yahoo and many others use their listings in their own pages .
