I have just got a TCH package, and want to put a temp. small flash movie on the home page of my site saying "coming soon" I created a page, uploaded it, and went to the site (http://www.chrisps.com/index.html) But it just doesnt load - it just says opening page. I stripped it down to the bear minimum code just to get the flash movie displayed, and it still didnt work - i put the exact same page on my computer's web server, and it works fine, and if goto http://www.chrisps.com/login.swf it also works fine. If i put an html file that just says "hello" it works fine, but it just doesnt want to load the html page that contains that swf Any ideas?

I am just about to try another sign up In the UK however, a lot of houses do not have a number. My full address is My House, My Street, Town, County (like state) Post Code (in format XX# #XX - like a zip code)

Ok, i will try again after dinner. The odd thing is that when i bought the domain from you, it didnt complain at all

the bank did actually say they had our address as all one line, which they say would have made a difference, however they recified that earlier today

Yes, there is obviously some problem with that avs system talking to my bank, because they say what we are entering is the same as what they have on record I hope this can be resolved

sadly my experience with this system is less than perfect

Update: I have been in contact with my credit card company, and they confirmed the address i was entering was correct. However it still doesnt work, so i have raised another ticket with your billing department

i have mailed billing, but if any TCH people are reading this, is there any way to check if the account has been / is being created?

Hi, I have just tried to sign up for hosting. I filled out the forms correctly, however, when i pressed "process my order" I received a message saying "AVS Failiure - Address does not match card holder's address". I checked, and repeated, and received the same message. I contacted my credit card company, and they informed me the first order HAD been processed, and the money had been authorized to be transfered (the second order was apparently canceled). I have not received any emails from TCH informing me the order was successful. Can you confirm that my order has gone through?

Hi, I have just seen that the domain servers have updated for the new domain i purchased with you, and I went to the "hosting plans" page to register for your hosting, and received a "We have ran out of room" message. How long will I have to wait to be able to register, as I am now paying for a domain name I cannot use. I would like to have my hosting ready as soon as possible, so would it be advisable to look for another host? Thanks

Hi, I have just bought a domain from TCH, and am waiting for it to get through all the dns's so i can buy webhosting from TCH, however in the mean time, i need to get ports opened in my university firewall. Another site i manage uses port 2082 for cpanel, do TCH's cpanel's use port 2082, or any other ports? Thanks

Hi, i am thinking of buying a domain name from TCH, however i was wondering if there was a massive cancellation charge if the domain is cancelled after the term of service is up? Also, if i host my site with you, and decide half way through the year i should have had the 500mb option instead of the 300 mb one, is it easy to change, or do i have to wait for the contract to expire? Finally, if i use paypal, is there any extra charge? Thanks
