I'm confused there si a script on http://www.onlinestatus.org/ I want to install the jar file that they provide you with but I'm confused. Could someone help me and am I allowed to install this script ?

when I tried it mozilla it says two things first time I tried it connection refused second time request timed out !

for me it says it loading there after a really long time it says page cannot be displayed ? I wonder what's wrong ?

But using a version thats ie5 ish all the posts on my blog go rite to the bottom and the sidebar doesn't function properly. The calendar looks weird. Basically loads of problems. Use something that's lower than IE6.0 and you'll see what happens !

wow thanks for all the answers ! lol this is where my problem gets harder. Rather than people having and IE lower than 6 getting a msg box telling them to change the skin (as from what I can figure out from the msdn page - thanks for the link) I it to automatically change the skin. I can use the if command which works great but I just wanna know how to redirect them to change the skin all they need to do to change the skin is goto a specific page and it does it automatically. Could some 1 help ! BTW thanks a lot everyone this is a great help !

another similar questoion though. I have a subdomain that can be accessed via sub.domain.com but how do I make it such that it can be accessed via www.sub.domain.com. Currently if I try accessing it with the www in front I get a cpanel page There is no website configured at this address.

Is there a script that checks the users browser and then if its a certain browser shows them a diferent page. What I mean is if you check my blog, it will display incorrectly on the default skin on any IE that's lower than 6. What I need it to do is check the browser and if its lower than IE 6 show them a page with a different skin !

but with mt's new iplementations of redirecting all spam scripts and mt-blacklist etc. etc. etc. I see no reason why you would want to do this. Some people have actually left nice comments on older posts of mine but anyways just a thought !

I'm trying to install a python script that updates my comment spam blacklist in Movable Type. SO far I've pu tit in my main mt folder along with mt-blacklist.cgi however I'm just seeing the source code, does TCH have python installed and what do I need to change goto where the python file is not working

Head over to Movable Type for the latest upgrade MT v 2.65 is out, with some good spam and security fixes. You can upgrade you're current mt installation by downloading the upgrade file. Also an exciting thing was mt 3.0 was announced with some cool features. I was afraid that Six Apart was concentrating more on Typepad but am happy that they're not (3.0 can be expected for release early 2004 ! )
