Woah! I thought I had solved my email problem a few days ago... but another "almost at capacity" message came to my partner's address at inmotionmanagement.com today. I realized I hadn't logged into his direct address via Cpanel and instead had got the "Catch all box" when I logged into Squirrel Mail. That itself had around 300 spam bouncebacks in it. There are over 1800 messges in the inbox on my partners email account, most of it is spam. I have no idea why these messages are being kept on the server. Did I do something wrong when I set the forwarder up? I can't see why this would happen unless regardless of if you choose to have email forwarded to an outside address, a copy of all messages are left on the server and all mail must be deleted via webmail as well as sorted in your outside email client. Is this the case? Can someone explain to me why even though this account (all the emails on that domain actually) is checked multiple times on a daily basis there are gazillions of spam messages cluttering the inbox only in the webmail feature? We forward all those email addresses to Hotmail Earthlink email accounts. Shouldn't we be getting all these messages when we download our mail via our email client and shouldnt all those emails be cleared off the server once downloaded? I have yet to check each of the email addresses on that domain, but from the looks of it there is probably wads more spam to clean. Any help or insight would most certianly be appreciated! Bill, Thanks! I had read about the cgi form mail spam issue when I first joined TCH and that is why I went with the PHP script that everyone here was so helpful with. As long as all that stuff is just an attempt, then I feel safe. Thanks for clarifying all that. It blows my mind that people do this kind of stupid stuff, glad to know that there are ways around it using PHP. Thanks everyone for your friendly and super fast help. The "Inbox" i seem to be getting to in SquirrelMail is a "catchall" box. If someone wanted to just check thier unique email address using webmail how would they do that? I'm worried that each email account that was set up on all the domains may have spam in the boxes. I know I set up individual accounts with passwords when I initially set up the email accounts, but how does one access those individual email addresses, or are they indeed all put into one "inbox"?

Just out of curiosity, why are there three types of webmail? Can we just use the one we want to, is there a difference? I'm going through all the domains I have and checking the mail via webmail to see if thereare boxes of messages that need to be cleared. Thanks, Nat

Ok so that means that I have to manually delete all mail in webmail in order for the box not to fill up? I didn't know that! Doh!!! I better check all the domains in that case! Thanks Leezard!

I refreshed the screen and it processed fine. I'm starting to get the PaySystems Invoices now. I guess it just takes a bit for them to process the card and gnerate the invoices. Alright... step one is finished... now I gotta prepare all these sites and get them ova here! I'm a happy TCHer! YAY!
