Invision Power Board, Missing Functions.php

I installed this from the control panel (just got my account), but this is the error I get:

Warning: main(./sources/functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/username/public_html/wboard/index.php on line 114

So, how do I get hold of this, and get the board working?

Not sure if this is needed when you install from cpanel, but did you create a mysql database? (Wait for a tech person to answer that).

Only other thing i can think of is to kill it and create a new one to see if same error shows up again.

The most relevant info I found while searching the net was this:

http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?...t=entry851469

If this is what created the problem, then installing again won't fix it, until they've changed the auto-installer on that server. Or if I can somehow replace that file.

And yes, I have created a database. Granted, after I installed the forum, but I did go through the install after I got the name of the database, username and password.

The only other source of error is that my domain name still isn't active. But I need to get the forum up and running WAY before I redirect the domain name, so I need to bypass that if that's why it's not wokring.

I wish. After functions.php was added, there were a lot more missing files, unfortunately.

Right now I wish I had a zip file of the whole board, so I could replace any missing files manually.

Admin works, but that's about it right now.

Didn't find that version there. Assumed they only had the non-free versions there.

Hopefully I solved my problem by installing it somewhere else, then downloading the entire directory structure from the other host. We'll see.

To me it looks like the installer timed out. I'll see if I can fix it by adding files from an intact installation. Thanks for the link. Looks like it isn't free, though... Will have to think about that...

Thank you guys.

I used the new version, temporarily renamed the forum folder. Then installed the new version, with a new database.

Suddenly everything worked!

Thanks for the help, it really DID make a difference!

Its alway good to install the latest version.

If I were you, I would write down the steps

and user and datbase names for future referance.

It can be a guide to installing the next version and other programs with databases.
