ekrimmel Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 If I own the domains mysite.com and mysite.net but have only one web site, mysite.com, how can people who type mysite.net into their browser be automatically directed to mysite.com? Quote
youneverknow Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Just make mysite.net dns servers point to TCH and submit a help ticket that you want it set up this way. I have done this for a couple of dot coms and I'm pretty sure a dot net would be handeld the same. PS: there is no charge to do this. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Hi ekrimmel, and welcome to the family! As youneverknow states. Just point the domain name servers to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com and then open a Help Desk ticket to support and request that they park the second domain on your current domain. Also, moving to appropriate forum for organization. Quote
TCH-Don Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Welcome to the Family ekrimmel and your new home! We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help Quote
ekrimmel Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 Thanks for the help! As someone who is new to this stuff I really appreciate it. And thanks TCH-Bruce for the link to the Help Desk, that was helpful. I was able to submit a ticket without a problem. Thanks again- it's great to be part of the family! Quote
