Lianna Posted November 9, 2002 Posted November 9, 2002 I am new to cPanel and although I am growing to like it more and more, there is one really annoying feature: constantly switching mouse to keyboard and back. For example, when adding a new mail account, I have to switch back to my mouse after using the keyboard to enter all the information for a user so that I can click [Go Back]. Then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to click [Add Account] to start creating a new user with the keyboard. When creating many mail accounts, this is quite tedious. Is there a keyboard shortcut/hotkey to do those functions listed on the cpanel pages in brackets ([Go Back], [Add Account], etc.)? Any insight would be appreciated. Lianna Quote
mountaindew Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 Wow thats a good question. I have no clue. Let me look into this one. Quote
Lianna Posted November 13, 2002 Author Posted November 13, 2002 I was beginning to wonder if it was a really good question or a really dumb one! Thanks. Again, this is not a big deal, just would be helpful. Lianna Quote
rayners Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Well, considering CPanel operates through a browser, I imagine it has as many keyboard shortcuts as a regular web-page, i.e. none. Depending your browser, you may be able to use Tab and Shift-Tab to move back and forth through the links, but as far as I know, that's about it. Quote
Lianna Posted November 14, 2002 Author Posted November 14, 2002 Good Point! Thanks...just trying to make my life easier. Dad always told us to "Work smart, not hard." So then what my REAL wish list would be is a 'bulk' account creation tool in cpanel! Enter name, enter password, enter next name, etc. then finally Create Account(s). Cool, huh? But since I don't have a clue how all the backend stuff works, it may well not even be possible. Dreaming. Lianna Quote
