I have been noticing there has been an email lag time usually 1-2 hours but up to 13-14 hours. This is for incoming and outgoing email. I have also noticed the amount of spam coming in has quadrupled. Are the two related to each other? Is this just me or is this systemwide? I am on server 45.

Many things can cause lags in email delivery. More spam could cause slow downs. If it is constant you may want to open a Help Desk ticket and report it.

Remember also that a lag could be caused by any computer or network in the link between sender and receiver. It may not be directly related to TCH but maybe the receiver's ISP for instance.

 

Extra loads of spam that has to be sorted through could cause a bit of a slow down but I doubt it is enough to account for even 3 hours, muchless 13. Definitely do a helpdesk ticket and have the techs look at the logs.
