Question About Transferring Domains

So, I've been a customer for 2 days now and am really happy so far with how things have gone. DNS propagation appears to be going quite well (I've got people on both the east and west coast that can see my new site). My question is, if I were to transfer the domains from their current registrar to totalchoice will there be *another* 24-72 hour propagation issue. Logic tells me that there shouldn't be since the registrations are already updated to use TCH dns and I'd merely be transferring the domains to a new registrar but I'd like to know for sure before putting my site into limbo for *another* 24-72 hour period.

There should be no re-propogation involved. The domain servers are already set.

I transferred two domains and experienced no DNS propogation delay or lapse in service...
