Updating Huge Database / Cron Job Timeout

I have a 150meg file on my account, but when I perform

mysql --user=.. --password=.. --database=.. < file

via a cron job, it starts to work like a charm, but after about 3-400K records it stops populating

 

Is there a timeout on the cron jobs? is there a better way to go about this?

 

Last time I had to do this, a TCH personal executed the command for me, but I'd hate to have to ask for that everytime I need to update my DB.
