stillandbox Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I'm not real sure where to put this, so it's going here :-) I have two main things as of right now, I'm sure more will be coming later...lol....First, what is the redirect that I need to have for php-nuke. I installed Nuke into the "Main" directory. I tried to redirect my website from the regular "http://stillandbox.com" to --> "http://stillandbox.com/Main"'>http://stillandbox.com/Main" and to "http://stillandbox.com/Main/index.php" Neather worked. Any ideas? I know it can be solved, I asked once like 3 months ago, I searched, but could not find it. My second question has to do with layout. My Homepage with PHP-Nuke is the forum, and if you go to "http://stillandbox.com/Main" you can see it. I want the forum to be on the homepage, however, I want the Nuke menu on the sides too. I looked on the nuke boards, but did not post yet, waiting to see if anyone here knows about that. One other thing with the Nuke Forums, I can't get my new themes to show up...and I'm lost with that one, so any help is welcome. Thanks! TCH-Don Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 To answer your first question, see Setting Up A Web Page Redirect, cPanel change or .htaccess edit I can't help with the layout as I have not used PHP-Nuke. Hope this helps. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I see you have the redirect working, but it takes you to stillandbox.com//Main/. It will work that way but it just looks bad.(IMO) As for the menu, there appaers to be an issue with your theme, so change themes.. There so many choices of Nuke themes , why spend all your time messing with that one. When selecting a theme you need to look for two things... 1. Is it made for the version of Nuke that you have? While some themes will work regardless of the version, alot are made for specifc versions. 2. Try to find a theme that includes a matching theme for the forum. Also I suggest you look in the "includes" directory and edit the file "meta.php" Find the line that starts with >echo "<META NAME=\"KEYWORDS\" CONTENT=\ And replace the default keywords with your own.
