midwestchasing Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 Hello all. I purchased a Silver hosting plan this afternoon and got the welcome email with my server IP. I also purchased a domain name, midwestchasing.com, from you guys as well. Since the domain name takes a few days to work, I tried viewing my site with the ip. I got a 404 error when I tried to. What's going on? Also, how can I point my domain name to the nameservers? Thank you for your time. Quote

If you bought the name from us and tols it at the time of signup that you would be hosting here then there is nothing you need to do. If not then I think this DNS tutorial for TCH registered domains may help. Quote
