Blackcat Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 I saw today my stats from the Cpanel, and l noticed they state a bandwidth of 52,07 MB instead of the 793,89 stated in the Cpanel. Moreover, l have on my site a ShinyStat counter, and in this last week it counted 932 unique visits, compared with the 141 of the stats. My question then, is: do l have to worry about bandwidth? Wilexa Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 Your Cpanel bandwidth is your total bandwidth across all protocols at TCH. It includes http, ftp, smtp (mail) and everything else. The Cpanel bandwidth number is what TCH checks againt your quota. The Awstats only addresses the http stuff, so it is (almost) always lower than the cpanel value. ...dave Quote
Blackcat Posted March 18, 2004 Author Posted March 18, 2004 Uhm... so maybe it's better to start thinking to a bandwidth increase, upgrading my plan... The total monthly bandwidth is the one stated with the hosting plan choosen, am l right? Confused Black Cat Quote
DarqFlare Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Yes, you are correct. The hit counter probably doesn't log unique visitors the same way AWStats does... AWStats uses IPs. Quote
