guita01 Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 I currently have "****" and webspace here. I also have "mydomain.org" registered somewhere else and want it it pointed to the same site as "****" what do I need to do on THIS end? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 If you have access to the DNS servers you will need to point them to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com. You will also need to open a help desk ticket to support (link above) and request that they park the .org domain on your .com domain. Quote
guita01 Posted March 17, 2004 Author Posted March 17, 2004 Looks like adding DNS service costs $9.50 on their end. I'd be better off just transfering the domain. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 No, what I meant was can you access your domain information where you tell it what DNS servers to point to? If so, you just change the pointers that it is currently using to point to the TCH servers. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 How long do you have left on your registration, why not transfer to TCH? You would receive all the time remaining on your existing registration. Plus a FREE one-year extension. TCH Domain Transfer Quote

TCH Domain Transfer Well I was going to tranfer the domain, but I have to leave it there for 60 days. However I just figured out that I AM able to select the nameservers. I HAVE updated on THAT end. Is there something I need to do in Cpanel or is it a help ticket thing to add that domain to my existing webspace? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Just put in help desk ticket and support will take care of it. Quote
