I dont know the path names in english speaking computers so i have made a pic explaining my question.

Pic indicates (circled in pic) that there is a system font. Where do i find that? I have looked in fonts folder, but no system font. :P

You´re a lucky man Bruce. :P cause i dont have it in windows/fonts, which i think is strange since its obviously exists on my system.

Thomas,

I am looking on a Windows 98 install. I don't have XP in my office but I can check it when I get home. If it's being listed it has to be on your system somewhere.

Have you done a search for "system.fon" on your computer? Or "system.ttf"?

Windows XP does not have to have the font file in the Fonts folder.

When you go to install a font that is in a different folder, the dialog box has a checkbox for "Copy font to font directory"

So, it doesn't have to be in the directory. Windows XP just tracks where it is.

I would do what Bruce suggested: search for the system font.

Well, I've scanned my XP machine and although the 'system' font is available for use, there doesn't appear to be a font file associated with it. So that would lead me to believe that it is embedded into Windows.
