no1nos Posted February 18, 2003 Posted February 18, 2003 is there a script or binary that i can run with a cron job to update awstats? as far as I can find out, normal installs of awstats should have a /www/cgi-bin/awstats.pl script that can be run as /www/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -config=<your domain> -update . I don't see this script anywhere though.. Can I download awstats and just toss the awstats.pl in my cgi-bin? Would that be able to update my awstats in the cpanel? Quote
Lianna Posted February 18, 2003 Posted February 18, 2003 AWStats is installed at the server level here (vs. the domain level) and is packaged with the cPanel. I will refer you to a long discussion thread dealing with AWStats and some customizations that others have chosen, but TCH does not advise modifying the AWStats files and you do so at your own risk of missing updates, etc. Here's the thread. vrflyer Posted February 20, 2003 Posted February 20, 2003 In my CPanel I don't know why I get this for "CRON" Job link : Not Found: The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/bluelagoon/cron/simplecron.html) you requested. Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this error to your webhost. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- cpaneld/6.0 Server at www.cbushondas.com ........ Any Ideas, I would like to use my AWStats... as they appear "Not Updated". Thx Quote
