I am new to this site, i just got my account activated

and i want to customize the messageboard i've created.

what i have now is the default text (YourCompany.com and all other default messages).

where do i change all that ?

i havent' decided yet which one to use, i am a brand new member here.trying ot figure out which one would be the easiet to modify to my needs.

I've installed both Invision and phpBB. phpBB was a little easier to modify.

 

While phpBB was a little easier to modify visually, Invision offers more administrative functions.

Before you install you should pop over to www.phpbb.com and take a look at the demo. It will give you a feel for the admin panel.

 

Then there are other links there that you use to find the configuration info.

how do i delete a message board from my site ? i installed one, how can i uninstall it ?

Go to your cpanel and open the File Manager. Delete the folder you created your BB in. Then select Manage Mysql and delete the database the BB is using.

 

If that doesn't get rid of it open a Help Desk ticket (link above) and the TCH techs can help you delete it.
