Can't get email to work

Hi I just purchased a website package.

 

I can set up email for users, I can access my email on neomail and horde, but I can't access other users email on webmail.

 

I also can't get email client to access account.

 

Here's what I did, I set up my email, then tested it out, I can receive and send email from the webmail site.

 

I then set up email for everyone else.

 

I then tried to use email client Express Plus, I keep getting error "Login Failure", I've tried pop.spwa.net, mail.spwa.net pop3.spwa.net and I can't get mail, same with outgoing smtp, I've tried every settings enabled and disabled to get it going but still the errors.

 

I then tried to log on the webmail with the other users email to check if they could get on, I kept getting access denied.

 

What can I do to resolve this.

Couple of thoughts.

 

Can you receieve email?

 

What username are you parsing in your outlook client?

If its a addon account it should be the full user name such as user@****

 

The mail servers for bot smtp and pop are -

mail.****

 

What ISP are you on , as some ISP's will block second party SMTP traffic over port 25.

Have you asked them if they do in fact block port 25.

 

AS you can send and receive from webmail it indicates to me that the problem is on the client side and not the server side.

 

Please report back and lets see whats going on.

For me on outlook express, and my primary logon ID

I had to use just the user name, not name@mysite.com

here is an image that might help.

 

 

for other email address you create you must use

name@mysite.com in the Account Name box
