scamquist Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 Greetings, Most of the postings to my guestbook are great. However, one posting is a bit inappropriate. Can I edit out the offending portion? Also, my initial comment is no longer pertinent. I would like to fix it up. So, any help in editing text in the advanced guestbook will be appreciated. Quote
MikeJ Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 Just login into the admin interface and you should be able to edit or delete any messages easily. Is there any specific portion of it that is giving you trouble? Quote
TCH-Don Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 Welcome to the family Steve Just log into the admin for your guestbook, and you can edit any comments or delete a post. Look under easy admin. Quote
scamquist Posted February 23, 2004 Author Posted February 23, 2004 I am having difficulty getting into the admin functionl. Is this done from cpanel or from the guestbook on my site? Is the admin username and password set as a default? If not, where and how do I do set-up or change this. Usually, I can figure this out, but here I am stumpped. Any help will be appreciated. TCH-Thomas Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 (edited) Go to your guestbook and enter 123 as both user and pw and see if that helps. Edited February 23, 2004 by Jikrantz Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted February 23, 2004 Posted February 23, 2004 Then if it works, dont forget to change username and pw to something (for you) unforgettable. Quote
