InnerVision Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 Greetings. I am a prospective customer, and I just have one question. I've always found that putting scripts within cgi-bin folders in order for them to be executed is tiresome and an excess hassle. My question is simple - must I do so? Or, can they be executed outside of the premade cgi-bin folder? Quote
Alan Posted February 1, 2004 Posted February 1, 2004 InnerVision, I do not work for TCH, but I have been hosting with them for almost a month now. I've always found that putting scripts within cgi-bin folders in order for them to be executed is tiresome and an excess hassle. My question is simple - must I do so? Or, can they be executed outside of the premade cgi-bin folder? >> I am not sure, but I think CGI scripts can ONLY be executed inside of the cgi-bin folder, that is why it is there. But again, I do not work for TCH and I have never tried to use them outside the cgi-bin folder, but I do not think you can. Quote
