manquesa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Ok, I just recently signed with TCH, it's been several days and the domain name is fully propogated. In the past with other web hosts, I simply needed to put an index.html file in the public_html folder for the start page. But here, even with the index.html when I go to load up my site all I see is a page with the directroy structure. What do I need to do to get it so that when I type www.manquesa.com into my web browser, it load's up index.html, instead of that other page that shows the contents of my site. Noob question I know, but this is frustrating. Thanks Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Your index file has no extension. Rename it index.html and it should be fine. Quote

DarqFlare Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 No question is a noob question! All questions are valid and deserve to be asked if you don't know the answer. Quote
