I have renewed my domain through TCH and since january, 6th I have received this 4 times:

Dear Valued TotalChoice Hosting Customer,

To complete your recently requested transfer we

must receive approval of the administrative

contact currently associated with the domain

name(s).

We have determined that the email address of the

current administrative contact is as listed below

and a request for approval has been sent to that

address. If you believe the email address below is

not correct, you must visit your current Registrar

and have it updated.

If you update the administrative email address at

your current Registrar you must restart this

transfer. To restart the transfer, log in to your

account, go to the Domain List, then click the

Pending Transfers link and follow the instructions.

Blah blah...

Blah blah = Url where i can change info and things.

I would understand if i had gotten it one time but not 4.

Why so many?

Thomas,

Forgive a silly question, but did you click the link go to the Domain List, then click the Pending Transfers link and follow the instructions? Also, were you trying a transfer in the first place?

I still show that you are at the other registrar. I would definitely click the link go to the Domain List, then click the Pending Transfers link and follow the instructions if you have not done so.

I emailed my current registrar today to see why they doesnt answer tch question to them if i can transfer my domain to tch.

Their answer is that they do not answer transfer requests unless I have told them i want to get rid of them (in lack of words).

Do I have to email them to say "I dont want you, guys" or is that what this transfer email from tch is supposed to do?

Thats what the transfer email should do. You request a transfer, we email you to confirm it. Once you do, we send communication to your registrar letting them know you are wanting to transfer. They send you an email to confirm, when you do they transfer the domain here.

That is how it is supposed to work.

Not necessarily wrong, Thomas, but certainly not the norm.

I assume that they sent an email response to you about your question?

Reply back to that email with "Duh!" (Joking) :goof: Seriously, tell them, "Ok, I am officially requesting to get rid of you, now approve the transfer so that I can leave. Thank you."

Yep, they replied with a very lack of interest.

And yes, I will definately email them to say they can...(censored due to this is a family forum) :D

Thanks everyone involved. :)

P.S Might be back with more questions regarding this depending on my correspondance with them.
