Hi, can someone help me out here. I am trying to setup an auth system for users to logon to certain webpages on my site. I got the mySQL database all setup and I am able to query it just fine. My problem is that when a user tries to access the first php page and I quesry for $PHP_AUTH_USER & $PHP_AUTH_PW, they both come up as set. Why?

Is this still a problem? I don't have any idea how to help you with it, but I wanted to bring the topic back into the light.

 

Also, have you considered using an application like aMember to do as you are trying to do manually? They have a free version and it's fairly easily installed. Here's the address:
