Hi!

1. I'm using FP 2002. I can publish my site using ftp. However, when I try to publish to http://www.stepholivier.com, FP keeps asking for my password again and again (even if I enter it properly). Could you help me with this? I've checked on my cpanel and the extensions are installed (I've not re-installed them thought).

2. I've created a sub web (photo.stepholivier.com). I understand (by looking at cpanel) that this creates a folder 'photo' in my 'public_html' directory. If I want to publish JUST the subweb, what http address shall I use? is it

http://photo.stepholivier.com or

http://www.stepholivier.com/photo or

http://www.stepholivier.com/public_htm/photo?

With ftp, the last address works fine but I'd like to use http.

Thanks for your help!

Strange. The head guru has previously posted that there is a bug in FrontPage 2000 where you can only publish ftp, not http. But he said that it works just fine in FP2002. I don't use FP myself, so that's as much as I can tell you.

One thing, if using anything other than your main account name, be sure that you use the full account name (user@mysite.com)

As to publishing to your subdomain, again I don't use FP, but I can tell you how I publish web sites to my subdomains.

Assume domain is http://www.mysite.com and you create a subdomain of photo (http://photo.mysite.com). When you create the subdomain, it will have also created a new user login (photo@mysite.com).

In this example, I would set my FTP host address to point to ftp.mysite.com and use photo@msite.com as my userid .

HTH!
