Shannon Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 being the curious guy that I am, I tried to setup dreamweaver mx to do database binding so I could actually create queries and such from within dreamweaver for testing without actually having to keep going back to the site. Now, i think i set it up correctly, but i get a 1045 error saying access denied. I used my database login/password where its blank_login/blank_password. So maybe i did that wrong. I dunno. Anybody have any experience with this? Is this not allowed, or am i just missing one simple step? Or did i completely confuse everybody and you have no clue what i was saying? Well, if anybody has any info on this, i would definately appreciate it. Thanks all. Quote

Shannon Posted December 31, 2003 Author Posted December 31, 2003 thanks for the info, it connects to the server, but i still get access denied. So i put in a help desk ticket to allow remote connections if its currently disabled. Everything else works though, just thought it would be nice to use some of the advanced features of dreamweaver. edit: now i feel really dumb, i tried again (as an afterthought) with a password i haven't used for a long time, and sure enough, it works... now i have to remove my help ticket... ack!
