lysdexic Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 Hi, all....I have absolutely, positively, unequivocally, no desire to ever use Frontpage. So, consequently, I don't need or want all of the _vti folders. I tried to delete them, but there must be some hidden files, because I receive an error saying the directory is not empty. Can anyone recommend a way to get this Microsoft mess out of my public_html folder? Thanks... Quote
TCH-Dick Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 go to your cpanel, under site management click on front page extensions, then click uninstall Quote
lysdexic Posted December 25, 2003 Author Posted December 25, 2003 Wow. That was too fast. On Christmas even! Couldn't you screw around a little and lower my expectations for help response time? Just kidding! Thanks for the super fast response! Quote

Deverill Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 If you have made any changes to your .htaccess file make sure you back it up before removing Front Page extensions. You can never be too safe. Quote
