Why Doesn't This Forum "remember" Me?

Although, to the best of my recollection, I have never declined this site's cookies, the "Remember me?" feature on login doesn't seem to work.

 

Is it just me, or does this also happen to others?

 

And does anyone know why it happens?

Arrgh!

 

Just yet another problem with Microsplortch and its famed Mac hostility, I suppose. (Bad enough that the browser chokes on images and crashes after a certain amount of use unless one pre-empts that behavior by clearing the cache and the quitting and restarting the program. Mad!!! )
