Hi I am new to the whole e-commerce thing and am looking to get my feet wet here... a ? tch... is a sub-domain root enough for osCommerce ?...

I wandered around the osCommerce site and saw some nice stores but saw no themes &/or looks for it; so if any are available a pointer would be great... also if any one has any advice( a TIA to ya would be in order ) i.e. read this 3x, or I wish I did this instead, that sort of thing...

ps... a note to tch, what a great host, I feel right at home, I trialed several hosts at the same time that I thought would be a good fit, and you like cream went right to the top... Hillhiker... Rock Sign

Welcome Hillhiker,

Sure, I run OSC in a sub folder and it works fine. There aren't any real themes to OSC, you have to tweak the look on your own. If it is just the colors and fonts you can change those in the CSS file. Other changes can be found at wiki.oscommerce.com. The only advice I can really give is to keep a close eye on those white spaces at the end of your PHP files.

Once again, welcome to the family.
