TCH-Thomas Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Let´s say, I wanna give someone a starter-plan as christmas present. Can I do that so it is registered in her name but paid by me? If yes, how do I exactly do that? -Thomas Quote
TCH-Sales Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Nice idea! It's always a good idea to give the gift of TotalChoice Hosting though. I'd say the easiest way would be to sign up things under your own name, then after they have received it as the Christmas present then put in a help desk ticket so we can switch over the contact information. TCH-Thomas Posted December 5, 2003 Author Posted December 5, 2003 Can this be done with domain registration too? Meaning, would be nice to give them the www.blahblah.com too. -Thomas Quote
Lianna Posted December 6, 2003 Posted December 6, 2003 Thomas, Buy the domain name with her listed as Registrant and Administrative contact and YOU listed as the billing contact. I've done this many times for clients. Then as soon as the domain goes live, I go back in and change the billing contact to the owner (otherwise I get the renewal notices each year). Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 6, 2003 Author Posted December 6, 2003 Thank you Mitch and Lianna. Sign-up is now complete and we should soon see a new member in the family. I messed up some in registration, but i will fix it as sooon we see it works. -Thomas Quote
